Hotstart’s large capacity coolant heating systems heat and circulate coolant throughout the engine’s cooling system to efficiently maintain an engine at optimum starting temperatures. This versatile heating system is available for engines from 2,000 to 15,000 C.I.D. Maintaining jacket water temperatures insures easy starting, reduces harmful emissions at start-up and allows engines to go to full power without needless idling. Circulating heated coolant also warms the pre-ignition chamber on lean-burn engines which greatly aids engine start-up. All CL models, watertight by design, are engineered to function in wet or damp locations; ensuring safe, electrical operation. All CL systems are CSA approved.
